Amatørsymfonikerne is a fully supplied symphony orchestra with 60-70 musicians. It was founded in 1954. It is situated in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The repertoire is wide reaching from the Vienna Classical to contemporary music, and the orchestra has several times made first performances of music written specially for the orchestra.

Many conductors have been connected to the orchestra, for instance Michael Schønwandt, Ole Schmidt, Leif Segerstam, Tamás Vetö, Frans Rasmussen and Giordano Bellincampi. Bellincampi has been the chief conductor of the orchestra for a couple of years, and he has been the conductor of the orchestra on several tours.

Amatørsymfonikerne arrange about 5 concerts a year, normally in the Copenhagen area. Every two years the orchestra goes abroad and cooperates with local orchestras, amateurs and professional. For example the orchestra has been in London, Estonia, Latvia and Lethuania. Often a revisit is arranged afterwards.

The orkestret is attached to Dansk Amatørorkester Samvirke (DAOS).
